About

My name is Marietta Rendlen.

Over the past 17 years, I’ve led large-scale organizing programs, multi-employer bargaining campaigns, and statewide legislative coalitions—experience that has prepared me to take on strategic, operational, and leadership responsibilities.

I’ve managed large-scale internal organizing teams, built planning and accountability systems, and led member-driven actions that achieved historic equity and wage gains.

Currently, I work nationally to support organizations in developing tailored organizing programs that respond to today’s political and economic challenges. By collaborating with leadership teams, I ensure strategies reflect the unique needs of members and the local landscape, creating concrete plans to win.

Throughout my career, I’ve focused on developing leaders, strengthening organizational infrastructure, and driving ambitious campaigns to victory. My commitment is simple: empower movements to build power and achieve lasting change.

Campaign Experience

National & Multi-State Campaigns

Designed and led a multi-state campaign strategy to resist federal budget cuts and hostile administrative actions impacting public sector workers across multiple states.

Coordinated escalation plans, cross-local actions, and leadership alignment while identifying opportunities to grow membership through campaign engagement.

Developed and delivered Federal Budget 101 train-the-trainer curriculum, equipping local leaders with the tools to educate and mobilize members around federal threats to public services.
